Route A: Sonning to Henley returnWe depart from Sonning at 10.00am and cruise through some of the most picturesque parts of the River Thames on our leisurely journey to Henley. We arrive at Henley and go round the islands, a perfect time to take some photos from the river of this historic town, before cruising back to Sonning. This is a cruise full of stunning scenery and you will definitely need a camera to capture the wildlife and beautiful English countryside, only ever seen from the river.
Route B: Caversham to Pangbourne returnRe-live the same boat journey as Jerome K Jerome in his book ‘3 men In A Boat’ on this extremely scenic cruise. We depart from Caversham at 10.00am and cruise to Pangbourne, which is also the home of Kenneth Grahame, author of The Wind in the Willows. Your cruise will take you past Mapledurham House, dating from 1588 and thought to be the model for Toad Hall and you will also go through Mapledurham lock. At Pangbourne we turn around and lunch is served and we then wind our way at a leisurely pace back to Caversham. An afternoon cream tea is then served as we cruise past Mapledurham. A perfect way to completely unwind and get away from it all, enjoying quality time with family and friends.
